Elections for Secretary, Treasurer, and Compliance Officer for the Wisconsin Cycling Association (WCA) will be held at our annual meeting on Sunday, January 4, 2026.
Elected board members will serve for a term of two (2) years. Elections for President and Vice President will be held in
alternate years, barring resignations or the addition of new seats on the board.
If you are interested in running for election, please submit a statement to the board. We will distribute it amongst the community so they can get to know the candidates. Your statement should answer the following:
- Who are you?
- What is your personal history with Wisconsin cycling?
- What is your current role in, or relationship with, Wisconsin cycling?
- What do you hope to accomplish as a member of the WCA board?
You can submit your statement to us at info@wisconsincycling.org. We must receive your statement no later than Sunday, December 28, 2025.
As a member of the board, you should expect to participate in monthly board meetings which are typically held virtually. You will collaborate with other board members, the various committees of the WCA (Track, Road, MTB, CX), USA Cycling, various race directors and members of our community, with the goal of growing cycling in Wisconsin. You will also collaborate with other board members to schedule the annual meeting.
