The WCA is a nonprofit, membership-based local association that supports competitive cycling and community-building across Wisconsin. As the Local Association for USAC, the WCA is responsible for:
- Coordinating and publishing the state calendar of USA Cycling–sanctioned events
- Supporting USA Cycling–licensed officials
- Assisting promoters with event support and post-event reporting
- Maintaining and providing event equipment to local promoters or contracting with vendors to provide services (finish-line cameras, timing equipment, traffic control gear, laptops, etc.)
- Managing any season-long competition and race results
- Supporting safety, fairness, and quality at all sanctioned events
Member benefits
The WCA exists to support its members — riders, clubs, promoters, officials, and the cycling community at large. Our goal is to deliver a positive, inclusive, and high-quality cycling experience for athletes of every level. But the WCA’s ability to provide these services relies heavily on the the monetary support of its member clubs.
- Yearly team/club dues – $100 per-team, per-year
- Rider surcharges on race day – $2 per-racer, per-day, per-event
